Data export
Overview
The Data Export feature allows authorised TrustForm users to export all essential client data as a downloadable file.
The export file contains data for all accounts in the system. The file stores key details of each account and is organised into multiple tabs, corresponding to an account type (such as Individual, Corporate, Fund, Trust, Partnership, Foundation, Joint account, etc.).
Once exported, the data can be utilised outside TrustForm for various purposes, including:
View and extract specific data subsets using filters (e.g., account associated with a particular jurisdiction).
Evaluate key metrics ( the number of high-risk accounts).
Sort the data as required (e.g., sort by the next KYC review date)
This enables you to prepare the necessary information for audit and reporting purposes, enabling streamlined and efficient processes.
Generate file
Prerequisites
Data Export is available to users with the "Data Export" capability (See the Invite users section for more info).
Step-by-step instruction
You can navigate to the "Data export" section by clicking on your user icon in the top right corner of the page.

Click the "Generate file" button to initiate export file creation. After initiation, the task with the current date and "Processing" status will appear in the "All Exports" table.


Wait while the data is processed. Once the archive is ready, the status will change to "File ready" and the "Download" button will become available.

Click the "Download" button to download the resulting "Data Export of `Date`.XSLS" file to your device.
Ensure the file is stored safely and securely on your device and process as required.
Note: The Data export file may contain highly sensitive client data, so needs to be handled with care by the approved staff members only.
Export history
Data export history is available in the TrustForm interface. Go to "Data export" page, "All exports" table, to view and download all files that have been generated in the past.
Current limitations
The scope of exported data is limited to most essential client information. Custom configuration of data fields for export is not currently available.
The file does not contain information on any entities connected to the main account, such as directors and shareholders, account opening documentation and other document attachments, nor ownership structure chart.
FAQs and Troubleshooting
Problem: The task status in the "All exports" table has been "Processing" for some time and does not change to "File ready." Therefore, the "Download" button is not available. Tip: Please note that data processing can take several minutes. Try to get back to the result a bit later. You can also try refreshing the page by pressing F5.
Q: Can I extend the scope of exported data and add extra fields? A: While export customisation is not available in the TrustForm interface, you can always get in touch with the TrustForm team to request any changes; we will consider your request and aim to support it as best as possible.
