# Navigating through Associations

## Overview

In some cases, you may need to identify all profiles to which a specific **Profile or Unit** is connected.

This allows you to:

* View all existing **linked Party** connections.
* Understand where a Profile is associated as a **Director, Shareholder, or in another capacity**.
* Gain a complete overview of cross-profile relationships for monitoring or review purposes.

You can follow the steps outlined above if your user role includes the **“Ongoing Monitoring”** capability. If you do not have this access, please contact your system administrator for support.<br>

### Open the **Monitoring** tab in the top navigation.

* In the table, locate the required **Profile/Unit**.
* Click on the **Profile/Unit name** to open the **Monitoring results** window.

### **In the Monitoring results window, open the Associations tab.**

* In the **Associations** tab, review the list of profiles the selected **Profile/Unit** is connected to.
* Explore the list to understand each **Profile/Unit-to-profile relationship**.
